Booking a hotel with kids
- Enter every guest. Prices and room options depend on how many adults and children are staying, so add children and their ages on the booking site.
- Check the beds. “Family room” can mean very different set-ups. Look for the bed types and whether cots are available.
- Two rooms can beat one. Sometimes two connecting or standard rooms cost about the same as one large family room.
- School holidays cost more. Book early, or compare dates just outside the holidays.
